Due to numerous requests about acquiring different Big Trouble merchandise, here are a bunch of links and other information I have found on the subject.

Big Trouble - The Soundtrack

There is now an entire page devoted to the BTLC soundtrack! Click here to go there.

Yes, John Carpenter's musical score to Big Trouble in Little China IS available! There are currently two versions out there: the original Demon Records 1987 CD, and the new 1999 Supertracks release with added music and bonus tracks.

Both releases are out of print, meaning you have to search on Ebay.

If anyone finds another distributor for either score, please e-mail with the info.

Fan comments:

"Just checking in with my personal review of the DVD. Picked it up nice and early this morning and popped in the second disc just after I got home to check out all the extras. And boy was I impressed. First off, I found the interactive menus to be very cool. Then I watched the original trailer which was a great experience since I had never seen it before.

The deleted scenes were great. I thought some of them contained great lines from a variety of characters. It was also fun to see "what could have been" in terms of an uncut movie. I was most impressed with the still image gallery and the fact that there were very few regurgitated photos. The shots from production, from publicity stills and from the deleted scenes were all incredible.

There were so many I haven't gotten through the whole thing yet! As for the music video, it was so 80's I had to try hard not to laugh. I never finished the rest of the extras, like the Robert Edlund interview, the production notes and the featurette, but I'm looking forward to them. I popped in the first disc just to see the quality of the film and thought It looked great. I'm looking forward to watching it with the Carpenter/Russell commentary."

"There a two secret things on BTILCs DVD. First, on the second disk if you highlight the Richard Edlund Interview and hit left, a pair of eyes will light up in a cave this will take you to a menu with trailers for the movies the opened in 1986. (Aliens, BTLC, and The Fly)

Second is, if you read the DVD credits, you will be shown pictures from the Commodore 64 video game.

Keep Shaken the Pillars of Heaven!"

Big Trouble in Little China - VHS

Own the film that started it all on VHS!

This film has been out on video since 1987, but was reissued by 20th Century Fox at a cheaper price last year. You can find the "20th Century Fox Classic Selections" version of BTLC in most stores like Walmart for around $10. I got my copy for $6 at Best Buy on the video rack.

If you live isolated from modern civilization, you could order the VCR tape direct from 20th Cen. Fox for $14.98.
The laserdisc version of BTLC can also be found through their site for $34.98 and the letterbox version for $49.98!

You can try to purchase the video of Big Trouble in Little China at Tower Records.com

Big Trouble - The Movie Poster

How much do you want to spend for a Large Picture of Kurt Russell?

Rick's Movie Graphics sells the reprint poster for $15.

The best place to find the full-sized, one-sheet poster is probably EBay.

Search big trouble in little china and look for people selling from time to time.

Big Trouble - The Script

Thanks to a certain fan base out on the Internet, I now have a copy of the Big Trouble in Little China Screenplay by W.D. Richter! This 125 page script has among other things:

- The missing Storm lines
- The missing Miao Yin scenes and lines
- Extra Jack Burton monologues
- An even less serious tone than the existing film
- Explanations regarding the conflicts between the Bing Kong (Wing Kong) and Suey Sings (Blue Turbans)
- A different and less satisfying ending

Now you can read the first twenty pages of the BTLC Script!

Big Trouble - Miscellaneous Merchandise

Big Trouble fan "Tisha" points out that you can purchase Kurt Russell's Boots from BTLC through a company called "Bald Mountain Moccasins," a leather company that advertises at Renaissance Fairs. Average Price: US $ 300-600

Their website is at www.dreamshoes.com
