When Jack, Wang and Co. arrive at the wedding ceremony and find Lo Pan trying to transform himself into flesh and blood, the multi-eyed Guardian informs his boss of the threat, Lo Pan shrieks an order to his men to attack.

Does anyone know what that order is? Phonetically it sounds like - 'Setsedu'.

I have checked on the internet until i am blue in the face and the DVD subtitles simply say "In Chinese". If anyone could help - especially if you speak Chinese, i would be really grateful.

Cheers

That's a good question. I just assumed it was slurred English because the guardian got killed and he felt pain. Now you have me curious.

We had a thread here on translations...

...but I'm sure there's another one around here somewhere. If I don't find it, feel free to browse through the "Film" table- it's somewhere in there... Smile

I knew someone on the board could point you in the right direction. Unfortunately my mandarin is useless, I think the movie is in Cantonese.

Thanks for your suggestions, unfortunately I couldn't find the translation for the word / phrase i was after. But fingers crossed someone may be able to sift it out.

This is the first time i've joined this forum and thinks its a great source of chat and info. Keep up the great work fellow BTLC fans.

Cheers Ninjahero, BTLC is such an ace film it needs forums and fans to celebrate it.

Still no joy on that translation.

I always thought that he shouted 'The Sinners!' at that particular moment.

Hey Denton, thats a good shout - it certainly sounds like 'The Sinners' in Lo Pan's very particular tongue, but the fact is says 'In Chinese' in the DVD subtitles - just adds to the confusion.

Cheers for trying to help.

We have to be able to find the actual script somewhere. See what they wrote for the dialog in that scene.
