Arnold was all about the quotable lines. The governator was awesome that way.

Saw the trailer for this in theaters last week.

It has Arnie, and everyone else you remember from 80s action flicks (except Jean Claude Van Damme). I fear horrible things. The plot seems to be a rehash of one of my favorites, The Dogs of War.

Yeah, I got hope for that film. It's a Stallone film. He is actually a really talented film maker. I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't think they got Seagal either. Him and Van Damme would have made it even better. And I know Arnie is a cameo. Still, kinda neat.

I liked Rambo 4, actually. I wish he'd gotten Jackie Chan for this movie, though. In real life, they're close friends and I wonder why they never seriously worked at doing a movie together. (There was a rumor that Stallone wanted Chan as the villain for Demolition Man, but Chan usually refuses offers to play villains.)

Rambo 4 was amazing. I also loved Rocky Balboa, perfect ending for that character. They are making a Rambo 5. I could take it or leave it. 4 was awesome and a great end for the character.

Jackie rocks. That is odd that they haven't done a film together. Although no matter how much I love Jackie. Wesley Snipes was phenomenal as the villain in Demolition Man. Great movie.

Sly is so clever. Anyone who loved action movies when men were men is going to lap up The Expendables. There is a feature in this months Empire mag and a photo of Arnie, Sly and Bruce together during there scene..

AWESOME........

If only Kurt Russell were in it too.... Sad

By the way, who is your favourite guys???
Arnie, Sly or Bruce????

I really don't know if I could choose- all three of them are great for various (and also similar) reasons- Arnold's got those kickass Terminator flicks (the first two anyway) Bruce has those kickass Die Hard movies (the first two anyway) and Stallone has those awesome Rambo flicks (the first two and the fourth, anyway)

They also all have great one-liners. Cool

For the most part, their films are just fun entertainment. If you want me to choose, pick different action heroes like choosing between Van Damme, Chuck Norris and Steven Seagal. (or alternately, Don "the Dragon" Wilson, Jerry Trimble and Lorenzo Lamas) Wink Wink Wink

Arnie is the best larger than life character. Stallone is the best rugged soldier and film maker. Bruce is the every day man on the street, the average joe. They all rock at being something different.

And all three rock at comedy.

More than just a rumour. Jackie said it in his autobiography.

I couldn't choose a favourite out of those. Rocky was a massive influence on me when I was a young teenager, Arnie is so farking funny and John McClane is a personal hero of mine.

Eh, 4 gave us a great ending for the character. I don't mind them being done. Yes, I would have loved another one. But I am just happy we got an end. Think about how rare it is that we could get an ending to two iconic movie characters, Rambo and Rocky. Normally they all just end in sequel weirdness somewhere. I believe Superman is still questing for peace.
