Ok ya know the bit in the alleyway when you see Lo Pan in the street in a hat? (just before the big wingkong changsing fight)

Well he's holding something as he turns round. If you pause the dvd and zoom in it kinda looks like a voodoo doll or something. Does anyone know what it is?

Also what's always baffled me bout that appearance is that Lo Pan is in his younger body form, but his face isn't white like when he's in his normal aparition young man form. so he looks like he does when he becomes mortal later on in the film.Hmmm Confused

Oh and last thing, how does he hold the needle of love when he's in his pimped out aparition state when previously in the film he couldn't touch Maio Yin when he was in that form.

Confused Confused

I've never looked very closely at his hand at that one scene. So I couldn't answer that. The look in that scene could have possibly been the lighting on the spot he was standing. If he was in a darker area (which he was) his paleness would be much less. Finally, Lo Pan's pimped out aparation state can only touch objects, not a human body.

When Lo Pan turns around in the alleyway, he is holding, and slightly caresing, a ladies shoe. It's just a small black shoe, like a Mary Jane or something similar. That clip always cracked me up to tell you the truth, one of the underappreciated moments in the film. Hope that puts your mind at ease!

I looked a little closer and I think that you're right. Though it could be anything.

I'm not convinced...it didn't look like he had any white make up on like he usually does in the film.

i think that lo pan looks different because he wants to. he's a being of magic, and so has various disgises to mingle with us mere mortals (much like dracula, please see my btlc = bsd thread). Very Happy
