Alright, we'll see if anyone jumps on this idea. I think this is an incredibly fun game, and maybe it will get some action going on the board. First, I'll put up a quote. Then, anyone can reply and tell me what movie the quote is from, and if you want add any other information (actor/actress, character name, director, thoughts, etc, but none are required). After answering, just replace the quote with one of your own choice, and we'll continue from there! Alright, I'll give the first quote:

"Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to flouridating water, why, there are studies underway to flouridate salt, flour, fruit, juices, soup, sugar, milk... Icre Cream. Ice cream, Mandrake - Children's Ice Cream."

I dont know how I didnt get it immediately, thats from the great Doctor Strangelove: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. Mostly starring Peter Sellers.

"...See we plan ahead, that way we don't do anything right now. Earl explained it to me"

Is that Tremors? If so I have one:

"I remember when this was all farm land as far as the eye can see.. old man Peabody owned all of this.. had this crazy idea about breeding pine trees."

Got it. Back to the Future. Took me forever, but a buddy of mine was watching that the other day, and I happened to catch that line while I was just sort of hanging out. Alright, how about this one:

"You've got to say 'I'm a human beaing, god damnit! My life has value!' So I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want all of you to go to the window, open it, stick your head out and yell 'I'M MAD AS HELL, AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!' "

Network.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074958/

My turn:
"Hey, take it easy man, there's a beverage here!"

or, alternately;

"Come on man... I've had a rough night and I HATE the f---ing Eagles, man!"

Man, I thought that one was going to be easy! Shocked

Here's a eulogy for a funeral scene in the movie:
"Donny was a good bowler, and a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors... and bowling, and as a surfer he explored the beaches of Southern California, from La Jolla to Leo Carrillo and... up to... Pismo. He died, like so many young men of his generation, he died before his time. In your wisdom, Lord, you took him, as you took so many bright flowering young men at Khe Sanh, at Langdok, at Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so would Donny. Donny, who loved bowling. And so, Theodore Donald Karabotsos, in accordance with what we think your dying wishes might well have been, we commit your final mortal remains to the bosom of the Pacific Ocean, which you loved so well. Good night, sweet prince. "

It came out in 1998, and has a lot of bowling & nihilists in it.

Raiders of the Lost Ark.

(yeah, that was too easy.)

Here's another:

"The candle that burns half as long burns twice as bright... and you have burned so very, very brightly, Roy..."

Correct! Very Happy

And for your quote: Ghostbusters

Here's another easy one:

"Either put on those glasses, or start eating that trashcan."
