Does anyone know what Thunder's knives are called? I mean the martial arts name? I have always wanted a pair of them... Interestingly enough, I discovered later in life that there is also a sword version with hooks at the end, cleverly entitled: hook swords (or Shang Gou, or tiger hook sword, qian kun ri yue dao or "Heaven and Earth Sun Moon Sword") In addition to being used by Michelle Yeoh in Crouching Tiger, these swords were also used in The Golden Child by none other than Peter Kwong, a.k.a. RAIN!!!! This is all interesting and all well and good, but I still cannot find the official name of the knife version that thunder uses. They almost look like Single sided halberd spearheads...

The closest I can find (which isn't close enough, probably) are these things...

They're still swords, but called "tigerhead hooks"- perhaps that may help.

Welcome to the Forum, BTW! Smile

I believe he did, along with the other two storms. You're talking about the knives that fly up into their hands, right? Smile

I've seen them advertised in Kung Fu magazines under the name "Elk Horn Daggers", also: Lightning's weapons were a version of the weapon called "Sho Shinbo". -I don't know what Rain's "backscratchers" were, but I sure could've used one in the shower this morning! Cool
