I don't even remember what i said originally.

Nah, my choice was tops! Wink

I could tell you what you posted (Being a WingKong Mod, I can see things no one else can see) but it'd just come out as "agricultural" again. Wink

Not an awkward situation goes by when i dont utter the words 'you know what ol' jack burton always says...' and the tension is gone!

Alternatively, wander around with a wild-eyed gaze to scare your colleagues while uttering in a higher than usual pitched voice 'Indeeeed...!'

I often quote BTLC! In fact I enjoy it when I am the only person who "gets it". And by getting it... I mean with the ladies.

The only quotes I use is the bit about shaking the pillars of heaven.
Though now I'm going to have to find a good moment to utter the famous "It's all in the reflexes," line every fan must say. Cool

Someday, it will happen. During a primetime Presidential Debate, one of the candidates will say, "I'm a reasonable guy, but I've just experienced some pretty unreasonable things."

I will vote for that man.

I quote big trouble all the time, i acual speaking and in other forums. But I only do the male lines, only Lo Pan and Jack. Jack, I use only the comments that he uses for his radio broadcasts and Lo Pan's INDEED!

Every once in a while, I'm heard to say "Wi Wan Do!" I don't have any fancy knives nor am I cutting people to shreds however, it's usually during a time when I can do something no one else can do or see something no one else can see.

Oh, and by the way Bartlettism, people are not brought upon this world to "get it".

INDEED!

As a huge fan of this movie I'm stunned that it took me this long to stumble upon this forum. I have a couple of takes on this thread, humor me.

I, for one am glad this movie didn't make it huge. It makes it that much more special when I stumble upon it late night on the tube, or actually meet someone who gets my references.

The "INDEED" quote is one of my fav's, along with "Jack what?", "..you earned it. You're right, I did.", and the often misinterpreted "I can help you" said with a heavy accent.

This movie is one of two that I could watch over and over again. The other being Strange Brew, but I have yet to find that forum Very Happy

No one gets me when I quote this flick except for my brother, and he lives thousands of miles away.

It's the worst when I blurt something out before thinking about it. Years ago, I was at work and some coworkers were talking about some upper-managment tool and what a jerk he was.

They were describing all the heinous things he did, and there was some unwritten rule that everyone would take a turn describing something stupid or terrible this guy did. Went a little like this:

Coworker 1: "Yeah, he's always stealing people's lunches from the fridge!"

Coworker 2: "And he's always demanding the impossible! He was yelling at me the other day..."

Me (interrupting): "...with LIGHT comin' outta his mouth?!?"

Blank stares all around. I switched jobs shortly thereafter.

So from your jobs point of view "first you see him, then you don't"

Calling him a "ten-foot tall roadblock" would have been the capper on that experience. Wink Cool
