It's awesome to find so many people who quote this movie. I think I am going to start throwing the Chang Sings hand signal up at people and see who gets it.

I've used that one too, but most people don't know the reference and just think I'm insulting them. Smile

IMO, I'm sort of glad that it wasn't a major hit or else everybody would be talking about it all the time and it would get old and if you liked the movie you would just be "following the crowd."

Totally agree. Great point.

I always use 'You know what ol Jack Burton says at a time like this'?

People think I'm nuts, its great....

Any time I'm going "on a mission" (rescuing green-eyed girls, walking the Spirit Path, getting pizza... you know) I pretty much *have* to say:

"Sit tight, keep the home fires burning, and if we're not back by dawn... call the President!"

I don't know if any of you play video games but i find i use the majority of my quotes whilst playing Battlefield or call of duty. For example at the beginning of the match... "This i gonna take cracker jack timeing Wang(or player of your choice). If someone rejoices in having killed a member of the opposing team "Whats the matter? Ain't you ever capped a guy?"

Myself and several brother officers have seen and abide by the film.

Whenever one of us does something awesome and righteous, really hanging it out there, we often give the hand signal and say "CHANG SING, BITCHES".

I'm thinking about getting a T-shirt made too.....I've given velcro Pork Chop Express patches to several of my guys for their duty/raid gear.

Too many great BTILC one-liners not to use 'em. Ironicially "cops got better things to do than get killed" get used a lot.

It's been a long time, but I have been known to yell "you will come out no more!" after tossing a flashbang into a room during training.

Yeah all the time, "It's all in the reflexes", "Cheques in the mail" "Wasn't easyyy"(complete with terrible Egg impression) & depending on whether I have an umbrella at the time either "A brave man likes the feel of nature on his face" or "A wise man knows when to get in out of the rain". Also as a kid whenever an auntie would ask for a kiss goodbye "Nope"

Pretty obvious quotes I know, but every time I get a grin on my face.

Awesome site BTW.
