That's awesome. Was that just a test for a future project?

Actually, it was the finishing touch on a project started 18 years ago! We shot it at a railroad station (the same one used for the Keanu Reeves/Sandra Bullock movie The Lake House) and I never got to see the finished result until today! Very Happy

Of course, the sound mix you hear is a remastered digital track and not the original mono audio.

It's awesome bro. You have fantastic effects on what I can only imagine is a small budget.

Hilarious side-note on that topic- the director wanted a western, but none of us had any western-style clothing! So, we opted for a 1930's gangster look, except for the dude wearing the Civil War costume.

Glad you enjoyed that- it was fun to shoot, although it was cold as hell when we did it. The director went on to be nominated for Emmys for his editing work on the reality show Survivor.

First: You are the Matrix before the Matrix.
Second: I like the Jackie Chan inspired fight.

And yet somehow, the costumes completely work.

It's based on one of the best scenes ever, in any movie: "No, you brought two too many!"

Since those "WTF-BOOM" and "Firin' Mah Lazar" videos are popular, I threw together a crude Star Wars clip of my own.

Not sure where it originated from, but YouTube seems to have a bunch of clips that use the audio portion of someone screaming, "WHAT THE F-" and then it gets cut off by the sound of an explosion with laughing in the background.

It might be called WTF Bomb, actually.

I'm just putting this here 'cause it's the most relevant thread- I just deleted my YouTube account (and matching Google account as well.)

Sorry if this inconveniences anyone. (Except YouTube and Google- if it inconveniences YOU, then I'm glad.)

In the meantime, Hello to Yahoo.com and Vimeo.com! Smile

YouTube's compression scheme always ticked me off- no matter how good the picture looks, it turns into crap as soon as it gets uploaded to YouTube. I know they made attempts to address this, but it made a simple job much more complicated to customize an export setting to meet their strict standards.

Their policy of enforcing copyrights was another nail in the coffin. I don't believe there's any reason to slap the wrist of someone who's using a piece of music under fair use. (To be accurate, only one of my videos got hit, and two others were banned in Germany, but that's neither here nor there.)

Finally, forcing me to create a Google account to access my YouTube account was the last straw. I created an account, deleted my videos, deleted my account (under the reason for deleting my account, I told them "be fruitful and multiply"- just not in those words) and then deleted my Google account.

I'm not much for conspiracy theories, but the last thing I need is another corporate giant being able to track more of what I do online.

I'm done with them.
