I suppose another way of looking at it is that Ken needs to work pretty hard if he wants the word "loooking" entered into the lexicon.

But he won't be trying on this forum! Laughing

I wasn't too impressed on the quality to be honest. But this movie stays epic!

You'll be blown away by the picture quality. Prices for players are dropping too, so save up those pennies! Cool

Check this comparison video of regular DVD vs. Blu-Ray out:

(Make sure you're watching it in 720p, otherwise you won't see the difference!) Wink

While I will agree that blu-ray is prettier, I would never buy one. DVDs and Blu-ray are both going the way of the dodo. Just like CDs before them. Movie ownership will be files, like MP3s. And I think more and more people are just gonna get a streaming service like netflix. For the price of one DVD a month, you get them all.

Just my two cents. For those of you who already spent the money, I hope you enjoy it.

I can't help myself- I just love being able to hold a physical copy and all the special features (that I never watch anyway) it contains. Until they stop making the discs, I'll continue to buy them.

(I used to buy laserdiscs back in the 90's, so I'm used to having formats go dead on me. I also still buy CDs, because a hard drive failure (which I've experienced) results in all those MP3s being lost!)

Call me old-fashioned. Wink

As long as you enjoy buying them, that's all that matters. As for losing MP3s. If you bought them thru itunes or amazon they both give the option to redownload anything you have purchased before for free. So it's like a forever back up. Same with Amazon movies. A great idea since we have all had those hard drive failures. Just like scratching a DVD. Better to have my collection exist in the cloud. No chance of losing anything that way. Very Happy
