Am I crazy or are the nicknames under our poster name new? I don't remember seeing those before.

Yes, they've been here since the forum's creation. (several hundred thousand years ago, actually)

They change with the number of posts you make, so posting more gets you higher ranks, so to speak. (I should clarify: making meaningful posts gets you higher ranks- too often you get clowns who post nothing more than smileys or one-word posts just to boost their rank. We call these people "Post Count Whores".)

Any member who participated in the last photo contest automatically won a custom rank. (like me, although "WingKong Mod" would probably be more appropriate for me now, only Josh has the power to alter these things.) Smile
